Tahir Taghizadeh, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary, has been awarded the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary.
The awarding ceremony was held at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on April 23.
Addressing the ceremony, Adam Stifter, Deputy State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, congratulated the Ambassador on this high and exceptional award, conferred by the decision of the President of Hungary. He expressed gratitude for the Ambassador's contributions to the development of relations between the two countries during his tenure in Hungary.
The Deputy State Secretary underlined that cooperation between Hungary and Azerbaijan during the 2021–2026 period was enriched with new achievements in the political, economic, energy, educational, and cultural areas.
Ambassador Tahir Taghizadeh expressed his gratitude for the high appreciation of his endeavors in a friendly country and for the prestigious award from the Hungarian government. The Ambassador hailed the fruitful cooperation between the two countries across various domains and expressed his confidence that the current positive development will continue in the coming years.
