Death toll rises to 2,988 in Israeli attacks on Lebanon
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll from Israeli attacks on the country has reached 2,988, with the number of injured at 9,210.

In a statement by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, it was reported that the death toll from the attacks launched by the Israeli army on March 2, targeting various regions of the country, has risen to 2,988, with the number of injured reaching 9,210. According to the latest data published, a large number of civilians, including 209 children and 288 women, lost their lives in the attacks between March 2 and May 17.

The statement also highlighted the severe damage caused by Israeli attacks on Lebanon's health infrastructure. It was noted that 147 separate attacks targeted health and emergency response teams during the process, resulting in the deaths of 116 healthcare workers and injuries to 263 others. Meanwhile, it was reported that 139 ambulances and 16 hospitals were damaged across the country, with 3 hospitals completely out of service.
