“WUF13 is of great importance for the future of sustainable cities and the event in this region is particularly important. Because it opens up to the world the innovations of the Central Asia, Caucasus and Eastern Europe and creates an opportunity to share them,” Mark Kuyo Ojal, representative at Kenya`s Nairobi office of the UN Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat), told AZERTAC.
According to him, the world sees the existing leadership in sustainable urban development and post-conflict reconstruction. “There are very valuable experiences in this field that can be shared with the world."
