Flood Alert in China: Thousands Evacuated
It has been reported that an emergency warning has been issued in China due to the flood threat and thousands of people have been moved to safe areas.

The Ministry of Water Resources of China and the China Meteorological Administration have declared the highest alert level, 'red alert', for settlements in the western part of Anhui province and the eastern part of Hubei province in the country's interior. It was reported that 1,805 people were evacuated from the flood-affected areas. The Ministry of Emergency Management of China announced that a task force has been sent to the region to assess the situation on the ground and to meet the basic needs of citizens affected by the floods.
