Iran reported that the US clearly violated the temporary ceasefire.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a written statement regarding the tensions in and around the Strait of Hormuz. The statement, which noted that Iran 'will not leave any aggression unanswered and will not hesitate to defend itself,' included the expressions, "The US terrorist army has committed a clear ceasefire violation in the Hormozgan region in the last 48 hours."
