US President Donald Trump, in a statement on his social media account, reported that Democrats and some US media are ignoring the US's successes against Iran. In his post, targeting the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and CNN, which are not convinced of the US's success in the war with Iran, Trump used the expressions, “Democrats and the media have completely lost their way, they have officially gone crazy.”
Reacting to criticisms about the Strait of Hormuz, Trump commented, “Even if Iran were to accept its defeats against the US and surrender, admit that it has completely lost its navy and air force, lay down all its army's weapons, raise their hands with a white flag, and each one shouted, 'I surrender,' the US media might still write that Iran won this war.”
