It has been reported that Saudi Arabia has decided to provide 'emergency fuel support' worth $150 million to the Yemeni government for the operation of power plants.
Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber, stated in a post on his social media account that his country will provide support worth $150 million to operate power plants in Yemen.
Al Jaber noted that the aid was provided under the directives of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and that the support is offered within the framework of the Yemen Development and Reconstruction Program. Al Jaber stated, "A decision has been made to provide 'emergency fuel support worth $150 million' to the Yemeni government to meet the fuel needs of power plants in Yemen."
