Clash in Colombia: 50 dead
It was reported that 50 people died in a clash between two armed groups in southern Colombia.

Colombian media reported that a clash broke out between two dissident groups composed of former members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in the rural area of San Jose del Guaviare, part of the country's Guaviare administrative region. It was stated that 50 people, including high-ranking individuals from both sides, lost their lives in the clash. According to the army, the clashes occurred between the EMC faction of FARC, led by Nestor Gregorio Vera, known as 'Ivan Mordisco', and the EMBF, led by Alexander Diaz Mendoza, known as 'Calarca'. A statement from the Colombian army noted that military units were dispatched to the area where the clashes took place.
