Arguing that Iran really wants to make a deal, Trump stated that such an agreement would yield good results for the U.S. and its allies.
Referring to the reactions from Democrats and some Republicans during the negotiation process, Trump emphasized that these statements harm the diplomatic process, saying, “Don’t Democrats and various Republicans who appear unpatriotic understand that the unprecedented level of constant negative criticism from political figures about whether I should move faster or slower, enter a war or not, makes it much harder for me to do my job properly and negotiate? Just sit back and relax. In the end, everything will work out, it always does!”
