Trump: The Agreement Clearly States Iran Will Not Have Nuclear Weapons
U.S. President Donald Trump reacted to reports claiming that the draft agreement presented to Iran does not include nuclear issues, stating, “The agreement clearly states that Iran will not have nuclear weapons.”
U.S. President Donald Trump, in a statement on his social media account, responded to criticisms of the draft agreement presented to Iran and reacted to the American news channel CNN. Refuting reports claiming that the presented draft lacks a nuclear dimension, Trump emphasized that a large portion of the text is dedicated to nuclear issues.
Highlighting the details of the draft and targeting media outlets, Trump said, “Fake news channel CNN today, as usual, claimed that my Iran nuclear deal does not address the nuclear issue. However, the agreement clearly states that Iran will not have nuclear weapons. Then, it addresses various other aspects of nuclear in very strong and lengthy details. In fact, a large part of the agreement is about this. CNN and many other organizations in the fake news media are a low-rated disaster. It is unlikely that the situation will improve even with their new owners,” he said.
