Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in a post on his social media account that he had spoken with US President Donald Trump and made a statement regarding the attacks on Lebanon. Netanyahu claimed that he told Trump they would launch an attack on Beirut if Hezbollah continued its attacks on Israel, asserting that his stance has not changed. Netanyahu said, “The Israeli army will continue its operations in southern Lebanon as planned.”
