Iran: We struck US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in response to Qeshm Island attack

In a statement by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, it was noted that the attacks on the US base in Bahrain were carried out in response to the US attack on Qeshm Island, and following a missile attack by the US on an Iranian oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz at night, the US-Israel linked Panaya ship was targeted by Iranian navy missiles. The statement emphasized that after this, the US conducted an airstrike on a communication tower belonging to the Revolutionary Guard Corps south of Qeshm Island, and missile and drone (UAV) attacks were carried out on air bases located in one of the countries in the region and the Fifth Fleet Headquarters in Bahrain.

The statement used the expressions, “Previously, we had warned that a different and more severe response would be given in case of aggression, and we acted accordingly. We reiterate that the disruption of the security of the Strait of Hormuz will have a heavy cost for the aggressive American military.”

IRAN STRUCK US BASES IN KUWAIT

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps reported that it struck military bases hosting US forces in Kuwait with missiles in response to the US attack on Iran's Qeshm Island.

The Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that mutual attacks were carried out between the US and Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. The statement said, “In response to the blatant aggression of the terrorist American forces targeting Iran's national sovereignty on Qeshm Island, the Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Force struck the military bases of the American occupiers in Kuwait with precise and intense missile attacks.”

It was noted that the targeted bases were destroyed and the shelters of American soldiers were demolished.
