Iran: Every accusation is a confession
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Bekayi rejected U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's claim that an Iranian planned an assassination on U.S. President Donald Trump, saying, "Every accusation is a confession."

 

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Bekayi, in a post on his social media account, reacted to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statements in Congress regarding an Iranian agent being convicted of planning assassinations against high-level American politicians, including U.S. President Donald Trump. Referring to the attacks carried out by the U.S. against civilians in the cities of Minab and Lamerd during the war with Iran, Bekayi stated, "Playing the victim does not absolve you of the horrific war crimes and crimes against humanity committed against the Iranian nation. Every accusation is a confession."
