The Iranian media published a message from Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf regarding the anniversary of the death of the Iranian Revolution Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. In his message, Qalibaf stated that Khomeini taught the Iranian people not to back down against oppression and tyranny, and that they are following the same path. Qalibaf used the expressions, "In the conflict with the US and the Zionist regime, it has been shown that the era of empty threats against Iran has ended and that any aggression will be met with a determined, regret-inducing, and appropriate response."
