Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakçi released a statement on his social media account regarding the latest developments in the region. Quoting a video where US Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised the cooperation of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Arakçi stated, “Our Armed Forces are conducting legitimate defense attacks on locations allowed to be used by the US to attack civilian maritime transport and violate the ceasefire.”
In his statement, Arakçi also warned against possible new attacks, saying, “Any hostile action will be met with an immediate and decisive response. What sanctions and war have failed to achieve cannot be won with more war.”
