Kuwait: Airspace Temporarily Closed Due to Attacks
The Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced that the airspace was temporarily closed following attacks from Iran.

 

In a statement made on the social media account of the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation, it was noted that the airspace was temporarily closed as a precaution at 04:50 local time, and flights were redirected to alternative airports in accordance with existing agreements and procedures. The statement indicated that Kuwait was subjected to attacks from Iran, and this decision was made due to potential risks that developments in the region could pose to civil air traffic. It was emphasized in the statement that developments are being closely monitored in coordination with relevant institutions, and the expressions "The airspace will be reopened and flights will return to normal once it is assessed that the risk situation has been eliminated" were used.
