The statement indicated that Kuwait was subjected to attacks from Iran, and this decision was made due to potential risks that developments in the region could pose to civil air traffic. It was emphasized in the statement that developments are being closely monitored in coordination with relevant institutions, and the expressions "The airspace will be reopened and flights will return to normal once it is assessed that the risk situation has been eliminated" were used.
