US Vice President JD Vance stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is mistaken on some issues, saying, "We sometimes have diverging interests with Israel."

US Vice President JD Vance made an assessment regarding current issues to the American press. Noting that the US and Israel are close partners, Vance said, “However, there are times when our interests align and times when they do not.”

Vance described Netanyahu as a leader who aggressively defends his country's interests, and stated that Trump was clear about his own interests. When asked whether Netanyahu made mistakes in his approach to relations with the US concerning Iran, Vance replied, “Of course, he was wrong on some issues.”
