Former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol was found guilty in a case where he was tried on suspicion of 'providing benefits to the enemy' and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The Seoul Central District Court found former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol guilty in a case where he was tried on suspicion of 'providing benefits to the enemy' after it was determined that he ordered military drones to be flown over Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea. The court sentenced Yoon to 30 years in prison for 'providing benefits to the enemy' and 'abuse of power'. It was also stated that former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun was sentenced to 30 years in prison as part of the case.
