Trump's Statement on 'Changing Planes in Turkey'
U.S. President Donald Trump said he secretly disembarked from 'Air Force One' and left on another plane due to security concerns after last month's NATO Summit in Turkey.

U.S. President Donald Trump answered questions from reporters following his visit to Ohio. Referring to the security process after the NATO Summit in Ankara, Trump stated that he traveled on a different plane under the guidance of the Secret Service and military officials, saying, “Frankly, I assume there was a threat there, I didn’t ask too many questions about it. I already receive a lot of threats.”

Meanwhile, according to details in the U.S. press, Trump, who boarded the presidential plane 'Air Force One' in front of cameras, later secretly disembarked from the plane via an airport catering truck and transferred to a smaller U.S. Air Force plane nearby. It was noted that 'Air Force One' left Turkey with senior officials, staff, and journalists unaware that Trump was not on board.
