Mobilizing public and private financial resources is of great importance for translating strategies into concrete projects, said Nargis Wieck, Executive Director of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan), as she addressed the German–Azerbaijani Connectivity Conference 2026 held in Baku.
The Executive Director noted that government representatives will exchange views on priorities and newly launched programs, while representatives from the business community and international financial institutions will discuss practical experience, financing mechanisms, and project requirements.
According to her, the event focuses on finding real business opportunities, discussing the necessary conditions for involving companies, as well as strengthening partnerships for developing and implementing joint German-Azerbaijani projects.
