A delegation led by Elchin Mammadov, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, participated in the International Justice Summit Istanbul 2026, organized by the Ministry of Justice of Türkiye in the city of Istanbul.
The delegation included Aynur Osmanova, Head of the Legal Support and Human Rights Issues Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, and Tugay Rahimli, Assistant Prosecutor General for Special Assignments.
The Summit, which brought together justice ministers, prosecutors, judges, legal experts, and representatives of international organizations from over 30 countries, focused on contemporary challenges facing justice systems, ensuring the rule of law, protecting human rights, and strengthening international legal cooperation.
During the panel discussions, participants exchanged views on the implementation of international humanitarian law, measures to combat cybercrime, the integration of artificial intelligence into legal systems, and the digital transformation of justice.
