“Kanaky is currently undergoing a process of decolonisation. In this regard, establishing relations and developing cooperation with a partner like Azerbaijan is of great importance,” Isabelle Serai Kaloi, a member of a delegation of socio-political activists from Kanaky (New Caledonia) and Maʻohi Nui (French Polynesia, Tahiti), told journalists.
According to her, such cooperation is particularly important in supporting the Kanak people’s struggle to achieve sovereignty.
