Pezeşkiyan: We support any agreement that will ensure the unity of Islamic countries

Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan, in a meeting with representatives from Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, said, "We support any agreement that will ensure the unity of Islamic countries."

In a written statement from the Iranian Presidency, it was reported that President Mesud Pezeşkiyan met with high-level officials from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey, members of the Mecca Alliance, in the capital Tehran. During the meeting, Pezeşkiyan emphasized the importance of cooperation among Islamic countries, noting that his country has a serious will to deepen cooperation in the region. Pezeşkiyan stated that by utilizing the common capacities of Islamic countries, they can present a model of justice and development to the world, saying, "We support any agreement that will ensure the unity of Islamic countries. Iran supports steps to eliminate disputes among Islamic countries and to utilize common capacities, as well as any agreement that will strengthen unity, security, and development in the region."
