“As a leading UN body promoting intercultural and interfaith dialogue, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) continues its tireless efforts to establish a global platform. Over the past two decades, we have brought together state and non-state actors through our internationally recognized networks,” said Nihal Saad, Director of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), at a press conference dedicated to the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, scheduled to take place in Baku on October 27–29.
Emphasizing that these efforts are rooted in a firm belief in dialogue as a vital tool for conflict prevention, peacebuilding and social cohesion, she said: “The World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue is one of the most important global platforms for advancing these goals. We are proud to continue our close partnership with Azerbaijan at the seventh edition of the forum.”
