Monsoon rains cause flooding in the world's largest refugee camp
In the world's largest refugee camp hosting Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, floods occurred due to monsoon rains. More than 1400 refugee shelters were damaged.

The Bangladesh Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) announced that floods occurred in Cox's Bazaar, where Rohingya refugees stayed, with torrential rains that started yesterday due to the monsoon climate. In the statement emphasising that the monsoon climate brought rainfall, flash floods and strong winds to the region, it was stated that the refugees affected by the flood were placed in temporary safe shelters.
