Today, the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization (NAMYO) headquarters hosted a meeting with John Mulimba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Affairs of Uganda. The meeting aimed to discuss prospects for development of the organization, put forward new initiatives, involving an active engagement of youth, as well as boost international cooperation, Yalchin Rafiyev, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, told journalists.
According to him, the NAMYO, which was established at the initiative of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev back in 2019, has today turned into a significant international platform, aiming at enhancing youth cooperation, implementing joint projects, involving young people from different countries, coming up with the shared initiatives.
The deputy FM mentioned that the events, discussions and workshops hosted by NAMYO contribute to advancing young people’s active role in international relations and utilizing their intellectual potential.
