The 2nd Forum of Young Religious Leaders was held as part of the 8th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana.
The event themed “Youth for Peaceful Coexistence: Synergy for the Future,” brought together representatives of various religious denominations, international organizations, and expert communities, young spiritual leaders from dozens of countries, offering them a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and perspectives on key contemporary challenges.
The initiative to hold the forum was proposed during the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in 2022, and it was later incorporated into the Development Concept of the Congress for 2023–2033.
Its key goal is to establish a permanent international platform for dialogue among young leaders, aimed at promoting tolerance, mutual respect, and spiritual values on a global scale.
The Forum concluded with an adoption of joint statement, which the young leaders expressed their readiness to actively contribute to building a just and secure future founded on solidarity and mutual understanding.
