World's 50 Hottest Cities Concentrated in One Country
According to data recorded at the end of April, all of the world's 50 hottest cities were located in India.

According to the report by the AQI platform, which monitors air quality and climate data worldwide, by the end of April, all of the planet's 50 hottest settlements were recorded within India's borders. It was noted that in April, which is not typically the hottest period of the year, the average highest temperatures across India reached 44.7 degrees Celsius. In Banda city, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh and at the top of the list, thermometers showed 46.2 degrees Celsius, marking the highest temperature recorded on Earth that day.

Experts stated that the extreme heat concentrated in India's interior regions shattered hundreds of records for April. As a result of the global climate crisis, summer in India is starting earlier and becoming more intense each year, with warnings that temperatures could exceed the 'survival threshold' even for healthy individuals by 2050.
