Iran: Proposal to the US is not 'excessive demands'
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated, “The proposals offered to the US to end the war, which US President Donald Trump described as 'unacceptable', are not 'excessive demands'.”
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated in a post on his social media account that the proposals offered to the US to end the war, which US President Donald Trump described as 'unacceptable', are not 'excessive demands'. Gharibabadi conveyed that Iran insists on 'clear principles', saying, “Real peace cannot be built through methods of threat and forced concessions. Iran will not accept the 'surrender document' presented by the US. The permanent cessation of the war and its non-recurrence, compensation for damages, lifting of the blockade, ending of illegal sanctions, and respect for Iran's rights. These are not maximum demands, but the minimum conditions for ending a crisis initiated by resorting to illegal use of force and are in line with the United Nations Charter, aiming for any serious, lasting, and reasonable arrangement.”
