Iran: Rights in Hormuz Determined and Issue Closed
Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Arif stated, “Iran's rights over the Strait of Hormuz have been determined and the issue is closed.”

Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Arif, speaking at a meeting in the capital Tehran, made an assessment regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Highlighting the strategic role of the Strait of Hormuz in ensuring Iran's national security and development, Arif stated, “The Islamic Republic of Iran entered a new phase in governance after the Ramadan war and must prepare itself for these conditions. Iran's rights in the Strait of Hormuz have been determined and the issue is closed.”

Arif claimed that after the war, Iran was recognized as 'the dominant power in the region and a global superpower,' saying, “We must plan according to this new position. Until now, the country's plans were based on the sanctions and pressures of the enemies, but now we must plan for the security, prosperity, and development of our country and even the region.”
