Shooting Near the White House
It was reported that multiple gunshots were heard near the White House and that Secret Service and FBI agents intervened in the incident. The suspect, who was critically injured, was reported to have died in the attack.

In a statement from the Secret Service's social media account, it was noted that 20-30 unidentified gunshots, which were reflected in the broadcasts of some reporters live inside the White House, prompted the officials to take action. Security units announced that the gunshots came from the corner of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, near the White House.

FBI Director Kash Patel also made a post about the incident, stating that he was 'at the scene' and 'working with the Secret Service.' It was stated that U.S. President Donald Trump was also at the White House when the gunshots were heard.

In the Secret Service statement, it was reported that the suspect came to the corner of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, pulled out a gun from his bag, and started shooting, upon which Secret Service officers targeted the suspect. It was stated that the suspect, who was taken to the nearest hospital in critical condition, died at the hospital, and a person in the vicinity was slightly injured.
