'PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN WAS GREAT'

Noting that he held meetings with leaders of regional countries, Trump said, "I just spoke with Netanyahu. I spoke with the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and other countries. We will also meet with Turkey. President Erdoğan was great. Pakistan was also fantastic. The whole Middle East is happy. Even places beyond the Middle East are happy. The Strait will be opened as soon as the agreement is signed," he said.

Trump stated that he would stay in the city to follow the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. to be held in Washington this weekend, and therefore Vice President JD Vance might attend a possible signing ceremony.

When asked whether Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei approved the agreement, Trump replied, "As far as I understand, yes." Trump emphasized that when the agreement is signed, the U.S. will lift the blockade it imposed, and this is part of the agreement, stating, "You will see that oil prices have dropped."

When asked whether Iran committed to abandoning its goal of developing nuclear weapons, Trump replied, "They will not have nuclear weapons. They have accepted this."
