Trump: If a nuclear deal with Iran cannot be reached, we will resume attacks
US President Donald Trump said, "If Iran cannot reach a final nuclear agreement with the US, we will resume military attacks on Tehran."

US President Donald Trump made a statement to the American press regarding the agreement reached between the US and Iran. Trump stated that the agreement with Iran would provide 'permanent free passage' in the Strait of Hormuz, and said, "If Iran cannot reach a final nuclear agreement with the US, we will resume military attacks on Tehran."

Trump noted that the agreement would ensure that Iran 'cannot develop or purchase nuclear weapons' and claimed that the agreement is better than the one signed with Iran during former President Barack Obama's term in 2015.

TRUMP: NETANYAHU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL TO US

Emphasizing that Iran could accept a 15-year process to suspend its uranium enrichment activities, Trump said, "Iran's capacity will be limited to low-level uranium enrichment that can never serve military purposes."

Trump reminded that the agreement with Iran was reached despite the objections of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Criticizing Israel's attack on Beirut during a period when the agreement was approaching, Trump said it 'should not have happened.' Commenting on Netanyahu, Trump said, "A very tough man. To be honest, he should be grateful to us for doing this. Because if Iran had a nuclear weapon, Israel wouldn't last even two hours."
