The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) shared the latest status regarding the naval blockade on Iran through a statement on its social media account. The statement noted that U.S. forces, following the directives of President Donald Trump, have lifted the blockade on all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, and that ships are no longer being obstructed.
The statement further emphasized that U.S. Navy ships will continue to remain in the area to monitor the implementation process of the agreement, stating, "American forces are not obstructing the passage of ships heading to or departing from Iranian ports. All blockade enforcement activities by the U.S. military have ended. Our naval ships will remain in the region to ensure that all provisions of the agreement are adhered to and fully in effect."
