Trump Unveils New Presidential Plane: Announces Trip to Turkey
U.S. President Donald Trump introduced the new presidential plane Air Force One at a ceremony held at Andrews Joint Air Base. Trump announced that they will also travel to Turkey as part of their international trips with the new plane.

U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled the Boeing 747, donated by Qatar and put into service as the new presidential plane after modernization efforts, at a ceremony held at Andrews Joint Air Base. Announcing that they will conduct numerous international visits with the new Air Force One, Trump stated that they will also travel to Turkey as part of these trips. Trump noted that they will return to China within the year, mentioning that Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit the U.S. in September, and later they will make another visit to China for a major conference.

Describing the new Boeing 747 as the world's most luxurious plane, Trump conveyed that the aircraft is equipped with unparalleled communication systems and state-of-the-art defense equipment. Trump explained that the plane was transformed into a flying White House in just 10 months and thanked the personnel involved in the project. He also shared that the new Air Force One will lead a major air show, accompanied by numerous fighter jets, during the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the United States' founding, to be held in Washington, D.C.

Trump noted that the return from the G7 Summit in France was the last scheduled flight with the current VC-25A type Air Force One, which has been in use for about 35 years, and announced that the old presidential planes will be restored and displayed in museums.
