Zelensky Orders 40-Day Operation Against Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced he has approved a 40-day operation targeting Russian objectives.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he has approved a 40-day operation targeting Russian objectives following a meeting with the Security Service (SBU). Zelensky reported that Ukrainian forces have struck two oil refineries in Ufa, located 1500 kilometers from the front line, and an oil depot in the Krasnodar region, 300 kilometers from the front.

Zelensky stated that Russian relay stations in Belarus, used in attacks against Ukraine, have been shut down, saying, “Ukrainian intelligence has detected the closure of the stations. Construction continues on road infrastructure and ammunition and fuel storage facilities along the Belarus border, which have no function other than military purposes.”

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko accused Ukraine of trying to drag his country into the war. Emphasizing his support for Russia, Lukashenko stated that they have no intention of fighting Ukrainians.

It was noted that following these developments, the Ukrainian army has issued a mandatory evacuation order for approximately one thousand civilians remaining in the Chernihiv region on the Russia and Belarus border, effective from July 1.
