The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany hosted a meeting with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev, who is on a visit to toe country to attend the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum.

The meeting focused on the OTS’s activities, projects, goals set at the 12th Summit of the OTS Council of Heads of State held in Gabala, and the strengthening of cooperation among relevant embassies.

The event also highlighted activities aimed at promoting the common Turkic historical and cultural heritage in Germany, joint projects in the field of culture and art, as well as other issues of mutual interest.

In his remarks, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev noted that the Turkic world has now stepped into a new stage in terms of development and unity.

According to the diplomat, fruitful cooperation and mutual support among the Turkic states in various fields contribute to enhancing relations and fostering unity among fraternal peoples.
