The Anhui Agricultural University of China hosted an event highlighting the Azerbaijani culture, organized by Azerbaijan’s Baku State University in the Chinese city of Hefei.

The event attended by BSU and Anhui University staff, students from Azerbaijan, as well as students from China and various countries, aimed at promoting the Azerbaijani culture and enhancing ties between Azerbaijan and China across various fields.

In his remarks, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the importance of partnership relations between Azerbaijan and China in various areas, noting that the high level of trust and mutual cooperation between the two countries creates broad opportunities for the development of cooperation in the fields of culture, education and science.

According to him, BSU students gained international experience in China as part of the dual degree program.

The event featured live performance of the Azerbaijani and Chinese songs by a soloist from the BSU Cultural and Creative Center, as well as the screening of a video promoting Azerbaijan, a traditional tea party consisting of Azerbaijani tea and samples of national sweets.
