Exchanging advanced experience in the protection and preservation of cultural heritage is of particular importance. At the same time, one of the strategic priorities is the education of the younger generation, said Simone Giometti, Secretary General of the “Life Beyond Tourism” initiative of the Romualdo del Bianco Foundation operating in Florence, Italy, told AZERTAC correspondent.
According to him, young people should deeply understand the importance of preserving their cultural roots and national cultural identity. “At the same time, they should understand that respect for cultural diversity is a universal value,” he emphasized.
Simone Giometti also noted that cultural heritage and cultural tourism are important and effective tools for promoting intercultural dialogue between people from different countries and cultures, strengthening peaceful cooperation, and deepening mutual understanding.
