Baku State University (BSU) and Türkiye’s Batman University have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, aimed at implementing joint projects and improving the teaching and learning process at the faculties, institutes, and colleges operating under both universities, in line with international standards.
According to the memorandum, the two universities will jointly organize conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, short-term courses, and training programs, as well as carry out joint scientific research.
The memorandum also provides for joint publications in scientific journals, the development of joint academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, the organization of training activities, and the mutual exchange of academic and administrative staff, students, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.
The document was signed by Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev and Rector of Batman University Idris Demir.
Founded in 2007, Batman University is one of Türkiye’s well-regarded higher education institutions.
