On April 7, Baku Slavic University (BSU) will host the International Conference on Turkological Studies dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkology Congress. The conference is organized by BSU.
The main objective of the conference is to create an international academic platform for scholarly discussion on the historical stages of development and modern directions of Turkology, as well as to explore current issues related to Turkic languages, literature, history, ethnography, and the cultural identity of Turkic peoples.
The conference aims to foster academic dialogue on topical issues of Turkology, strengthen scholarly cooperation among Turkic peoples, identify common research directions, and provide a scientifically grounded assessment of contemporary challenges and future prospects for the development of Turkic languages.
The deadline for paper submission is March 6, 2026.
