Azada Huseynova, Deputy Chairperson of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan, took part in debates held on the sidelines of the UN Tourism Ministers’ Summit in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
The event brought together tourism ministers from around 20 countries.
On the sidelines of the summit, Huseynova met with Abdulaziz Akkulov, Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan. The sides discussed cooperation principles and promotion strategies in the tourism sector between the two countries.
They also reviewed progress achieved under the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation signed between the Azerbaijan Tourism Board and Uzbekistan’s National PR Center in April 2025, agreeing to further strengthen collaboration.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany with the participation of representatives of the German tourism industry. Addressing the event, Ambassador Nasimi Aghayev highlighted Azerbaijan’s rich tourism potential and its appeal to German tourists.
Azada Huseynova provided detailed information about major international events to be hosted by Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijan Tourism Board also delivered a presentation showcasing the country’s tourism potential.
