On March 11, Adil Karimli, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture, met with Miguel Angel Moratinos, High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), and Nihal Saad, director of the organization.
The meeting underscored the importance of the 13th Global Baku Forum to take place on March 12-14. According to Karimli, Azerbaijan places great emphasis on cooperation with UNAOC.
The officials highlighted the enhancement of the partnership established within the Baku Process, implemented globally at the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, and reviewed preparations for the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, to be held in Baku in October of this year.
The discussions covered strengthening the role of cultural diplomacy and intercultural dialogue in a complex geopolitical development, as well as expanding cooperation on this track.
