Azerbaijan’s Baku State University (BSU) and Türkiye’s Necmettin Erbakan University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation.

The document was inked by the universities’ rectors Elchin Babayev and Cem Zorlu.

The document provides for implementing joint projects, international scientific workshops and conferences, as well as academic exchange programs.

During the meeting, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev briefed his Turkish counterpart on the BSU’s academic and scientific activity, as well as the university’s international ties. He highlighted the cooperation with the Necmettin Erbakan University at the doctorate and master levels, including such studies as international relations, psychology, and mathematics.

Rector Cem Zorlu noted that the successful cooperation between the two universities would contribute to the development of scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
