Ilgar Jafarov, AZERTAC’s photo correspondent and Honored Cultural Worker, has added another achievement to his record in international photography competitions, winning three gold medals at international photo contests in Romania and Serbia.
At the “10th Romanian Grand Circuit 2026” international photo competition organized in Romania under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), Ilgar Jafarov’s photo titled “Paralympic Athlete” earned him the “Varadinum Gold medal”.
His other work "Cleaning" won the gold medal of the Serbian Photographic Association (FSS Gold Medal) at the “BLENDA 2026” international photography contest in Serbia.
The Honored Cultural Worker was also awarded the IAAP Gold Medal for the photo titled “By the Sea” at the “Good Light 2026” international photo competition held in Serbia.
Photos taken by Ilgar Jafarov in various genres have earned acclaim at numerous international exhibitions and competitions, contributing to the global promotion of Azerbaijani photo art.
