“The Azerbaijani diaspora has made a significant contribution to strengthening cultural ties between Moldova and Azerbaijan,” said Cristian Jardan, Moldova’s Minister of Culture, during a meeting with an Azerbaijani delegation visiting Chisinau at the invitation of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Moldova.
The meeting was also attended by Jahangir Salimkhanov, Advisor to the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan; Elchin Bayramov, Chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Moldova; and Tural Safarov and Tahmasib Atakishiyev, representatives of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cultural cooperation, exchanged views, and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening friendship between the two peoples.
