Rector of Uzbekistan's Bukhara International University Sharif Baratov visited Baku State University (BSU).
During the meeting, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the strategic importance of cooperation between Azerbaijani and Uzbek universities. He noted that joint scientific research and academic exchange programs play an important role in improving the quality of higher education. The Rector highlighted that BSU has expanded its ties with leading higher education institutions in Uzbekistan in recent years, with significant progress achieved in bilateral cooperation.
The meeting featured an exchange of views on the implementation of the cooperation agreement signed between the two universities, as well as on new joint projects in the fields of science and education.
The sides discussed expanding internationalization, strengthening academic and scientific cooperation, conducting joint research, and organizing faculty and student exchange programs between the two universities. They also agreed to launch faculty and student exchange programs in psychology and pedagogy beginning with the new academic year.
