On July 14, Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC), met with Juan Manuel Fonrouge, Founder and Director of the Latin America News Agency (LANA), on the sidelines of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.
During the meeting, the sides discussed expanding international cooperation in the media sector, news exchange, and opportunities for implementing joint projects.
Vugar Aliyev noted that AZERTAC continues to broaden its cooperation with leading news agencies across various regions of the world. He emphasized that strengthening international partnerships among news agencies, exchanging professional experience, and contributing to a reliable information environment are among the agency’s key priorities.
Juan Manuel Fonrouge, in turn, expressed LANA’s interest in expanding cooperation with AZERTAC. He noted that news exchange, mutual information support, and the implementation of joint media projects would be beneficial for both agencies.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on the prospects for further cooperation.
