The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media and Think Tank Summit continues at the Ala Archa state residence in Bishkek with a plenary session focusing on cultural cooperation and new technologies.
During the second session focused on humanitarian and cultural cooperation, the participants are reviewing the dialogue between civilizations, cultural exchange, and the role of new technologies.
The discussions mainly focus on issues such as the experience of humanitarian partnership within the SCO, dialogue between civilizations through the "Poetry Silk Road" initiative, the impact of artificial intelligence and information technologies on intercultural relations, as well as the role of culture in promoting national brands in foreign markets.
The event aims to deepen information, cultural, and technological cooperation between the SCO countries.
The first-ever forum of media and think tanks of the SCO member states is being held in Bishkek, organized by Kabar and Xinhua.
Around 250 representatives from 26 countries are participating in the event, including heads of leading news agencies, media representatives, think tanks, research institutes, government agencies, and international organizations.
The forum's theme is "The SCO in a New Era: From Mutual Understanding to Practical Cooperation." During plenary sessions and thematic sessions, participants will discuss the development of international information cooperation, the digital transformation of the media environment, humanitarian interaction, and contemporary challenges in the global information space.
