“I have high expectations from the expedition to Garabagh and East Zangezur. Over the course of three days, we will explore the region in depth, gaining first-hand insight into its diverse cultures, natural resources, and major tourist attractions,” said Filipino traveler Jan Vincent Francisco as he visited Garabagh and East Zangezur.
Noting that this marked his first expedition to Garabagh and East Zangezur, the Filipino traveler added: "I am a representative of the Philippine Global Explorers (PGE) organization. I visited Gobustan yesterday, which is home to rich rock paintings. We learned that plans are underway to further expand the tourism potential of the Azykh Cave.”
Led by American traveler Charles Veley, founder of the Most Travelled People (MTP) club, an international group of 40 travelers representing 13 countries today arrived in Garabagh and East Zangezur for a visit. The itinerary includes visits to Albanian churches highlighting Azerbaijan’s ancient history and heritage.
This marks the 17th group visit by major international travelers’ clubs to Garabagh and East Zangezur since 2021, offering participants a firsthand look at the extensive reconstruction and restoration efforts underway in the liberated territories.
